Ended up on 216 just outside the loop due to having to wait till the last minute to reserve a spot, but I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing all the TD's. Safe travels to everyone, see you there!

I'm gonna make it hell or high water !

Will arrive Sat am instead of Friday but I am not gonna miss the final gathering of 2015.

I am gonna sponge of of the kindness of others as I am not in shape to fling around the cast iron to cook.

Just gonna set around and tell tall tales but I just gotta be there.

I have everyone covered who wanted camping items I had extra of,,,,,

Doing great and feeling fine. Lost about 25 pounds thanks to the flush out diet days.

In my opinion colon cancer is the one to have if you have to have cancer. My Surgeon is very very optimistic that all went text book perfect.
Thanks for all the kind thoughts and prayers as they must have been heard and answered by the big guy up stairs.

Bob, it's great that you are going to be able to join us. We'll go easy on you while you are there. If you need any help, just speak up. I know you are not a "bashful" guy so it won't be hard.

Kurt, our reservations are for 227. I just triple checked them.

We plan on getting there around 4pm, depending on Indy traffic and how early I get "she who must be obeyed" moving.

Bob, you and Vickie can sit together and convalesce. She's recovering from being sick and will be sitting all weekend.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Fall gathering at Salamonie lake.

Weather (for the most part) was good but cool and breezy on Friday.

With the good attendance of (approx) 30 campers the weekend turned out to be fun. Several new campers joined us and seemed to fit right in. The campfires were keeping us warm in the evenings which is always an enjoyable feeling especially in the fall.

Some of the discussion involved our "Spring" gathering. Dan and I ill take another "Road Trip" soon to check out a few potential campgrounds.

We will have an announcement before the end of November so that the early birds can make their reservations (6) months in advance of the gathering dates.

Enjoy the fall and winter seasons and keep reading the forums for updates.

Once again it was a great fun filled weekend. Thank you to Kurt & Dan for putting it together for us. Thanks also to Jim & Cindi for their assistance when we arrived and had a little "incident" with our pop up (someone forgot to put the rear braces down and when we were putting up the canvas on the rear bed, we did a little tip & slide ). Thanks also to Toni & Tim, and Bob & Becky for sharing their bonfires with up. As always, we met some very nice new campers. Already looking forward to the next gathering next spring. Thanks again.

Just made it back to Newburgh. It's a long ways up there at 60mph. Stopped by Grissom Air Museum in Peru and checked it out with the kids. A lot of fun.

Glad everyone enjoyed the gathering. If we get back to Salomonie in the future there are a couple of new loops that we checked out over the weekend.

Our spring gathering site is still being looked into and the location will be posted soon. We have a very good group of campers in our ("Hoosier") chapter and it's always a good feeling to have such high attendance numbers. Thanks for being such a loyal group.
