Newbie

It is nice to finally become a member of this forum! I have been dreaming about building a teardrop trailer for several years, and I y'all's forum pages have fueled those dreams. It is so cool to see all of the unique styles and creativity put into the many different home built trailers. I have just enough woodworking skill to get myself into trouble, but I will not let that deter me! :D
After reading quite a few posts, I have purchased the Kuffel Creek plan, and Northern Tool 5x8 trailer and have it all put together. I need to narrow down several design ideas before I move forward.

A foamy does not take much for wood working skill.

Thanks y'all! I need to check into the foamy build. I preferred to have an aluminum exterior. I do know that would like to use the old style aluminum crank out awning windows. Are there parts sellers on this forum?

Welcome Ragonk from a fellow Ticket listener!

We live in the mid-cities area of Hwy 377. In case you're in the area PM and I can show you our teardrop if you're interested. If you haven't already, check out the South Central section. There are two big gatherings where you can see a lot of different teardrops, cargo trailer conversions, TTTs, etc. Next week is LCG at Lake Bistineau SP southeast of Shreveport LA. In the April, there is a gathering at Beavers Bend SP in OK. While we were in the teardrop planning stage, we tent camped with everyone and had a great time.

Take care,
Tom

Sorry I haven't logged on in a while! I have been real busy during the holidays but managed to get some work done on the TD. Aggie79, it's good to see a fellow P1 on the forum! I am interested in attending the gathering in April. I am not very good with navigating forums and will have to check out the area you mentioned with the gatherings. I love your TD and plan to build mine with a similar style. Do I post pics and updates to this thread?
