KazBah - Jack in the Box

Postby Kaz » Thu Oct 15, 2015 6:51 pm

Start of this winters upgrades. Think I want a tongue box. Trying to keep it in scale with the trailer. I really didn't want to move the jack and have little space for the battery too, so I thought I'd try putting the box around the whole thing. I have an old right angle drill left over I think I might try to incorporate into the jack with a hole for access to put my cordless drill int for raising and lowering the jack. I already have a 3/4" shaft adapted to the jack for use with my cordless.

Just want to put it out of sight and maybe have room for my chock blocks and jack wheel.136645136644

I would try to make the jack driver adapter so that the hand crank can still be used as a backup if your jack battery dies. i.e. if you cut the handle off adapt it to work in the new drive socket.
