This is an awesome build and I plan on stealing some of your ideas!!! Question about the shower drain you have. Is that a low profile type P-TRAP style you built or did you buy it somewhere? Im working on the shower for mine and I know clearance below the shower pan is limited. I have seen some really good Low Profile set-ups before but can not find a place to buy them.
Hey McDave, Thanks for that link. Im sold on using that now for the shower and sinks. Watched a couple videos about it and have one question, maybe I didn't hear it correctly. In one video it said that if you install the Hepvo valve there is no need for an additional tank vent, does this sound right? figured you would still need a tank vent.
Hey Wookie, I think what I heard was "air inlet vent"? similar to a bath or sink (residential), allows air into drain pipe, preventing a vacuum lock, ie. thumb over the end of a straw trick. A tank vent allows funk/ gasses to exit the tank without coming thru the fixtures, ie. path of least resistance. Also, you need to let air in when draining the tank, and out when "filling" the tank, so I'm pretty sure you're still gonna want a tank vent.
