Wall Vent

Hello all,

I have a fantastic fan in the roof and really quickly I learned I needed an input air vent so I don't create negative pressure. I bought two of these: http://www.amazon.com/Cycle-Truck-Cargo-Trailer-Vents/dp/B006R5LND0 Anyone have any experience with pros and cons on placement? I have a 6x12. Thanks!

My 7x12 came with 2 of them. But it's considered a side by side hauler not CT. So I think they were for gas fumes.
One is on left side high. One is right side low. I'm going to use the left one for holding tank vent. So that will only leave me the lower one. I live on a dirt road and travel dirt roads so for the remaining vent I'm going to add a pieces of furnace filter and try to make a cover for opening and closing the vent. Oh and to keep out our state bird too. Mosquitoes

Thanks! Do yours face down or is the vent towards the front of the trailer. I have seen both.

The vents both face the rear of the trailer.

My trailer came with two of them (3" round hole I think) and, even on low, my Fantastic vent still sucks the side door closed if it's cracked open an inch or two. (I have no windows)
You can really hear the fan working when all of the doors are closed. The trailer is a 6x10 and think I would need at least 4 more to get the air moving properly.
I'm looking for a larger vent solution and would like to keep is as low as possible in one of the rear doors.
I suppose the best solution would be to have an equal opening area for both intake and exhaust. Kind of like building computer for gaming.

I bought something just like that but in plastic and have not figured out a way to put a screen in it to keep the tiny flies out.
The little flies here would go right through the gap between the lever and the big mesh.
Maybe some kind of weatherstrip stuff would keep a snug seal yet allow for adjustment.

Thank you everyone. Sounds like I am going to want to install another vent besides just the 3'' ones. Maybe one 3'' and one of the larger ones.

Another option is 2 roof vents.

Any reason you don't want to add windows. They provide light and a screened window for air flow. You will never get good air flow from those small vents.

I have a window in the door. (http://easyrvwindows.com/rv-entry-door.html) I'm thinking of having a screen made for it and just call it a day there.

I have also wondered about floor vents, seems like the coolest air available may be under the CT in the shade?
