When i welded the hitch reciever in the back 2 cross members of the trailer i distorted them and i decided that it was easier to cut them out and start again.
If i had acess to oxy/acetaline of something i could maybe have done it with heat but as id have to pay to get it done i thought id do it this way instead

Well i cut the cross members out this arvo but made a huge rooky mistake.
Was merrily cutting away with the 9 inch and was almost done and looked up and all the sparks were going into the galley. .... heat burns all over my glass mosaics.
If anyone knows a fix even for the least bad ones id prefer to not have to replace them all.

Sorry man. That sucks. I had a Cadillac once that had a bunch of little stone chips in the windshield. I took it to a glass shop and they somehow got most of them out.

Yeah. I was going to suggest a buffing wheel and some glass polishing compound, but you have to remember that each one of those little burn holes probably has a little nugget of steel lodged in it; so if you go to polish it out like for a stone chip it might actually make things worse. Then again, I'm not an expert so maybe a little more research is needed.

We all make mistakes! And it is sometimes better to bite the bullet and replace them rather than attempt to fix or patch them.
Look at it like you would a speeding ticket. You are mad at yourself for doing it, but once you have paid your fine it is soon forgotten.
If you don't the patched up mess you made will be there as a constant reminder for years to come.
Pay the Fine  and move forward.
You will be back on schedule sooner that way!

Is this one of those goofs that if not pointed out will only be seen by you? I've got a few of those rocks in my box.
