heh.... I kinda already jumped into this forum in other places without introducing myself...

Hi. I'm being silly and building my own... thing. A Franken-Kampmaster? But it's gonna be 5'6" tall to afford a dinette/bed in the front instead of a futon-y couch/mattress thing. I'm giddy about the whole stupid project. Biggest thing I've ever tried making before, never done anything remotely vehicle-related beyond changing tires or windshield wipers. So navigating the State Patrol reqs has been a little daunting, but I think I'm through it!
The journey has gone from: "I want a cabover for my truck!" to "Hey, I could build one?" to "Heh, those little tears are cool, plus I wouldn't lose the bed of the truck, and it'd just be more convenient on the whole." Sooooo....
I got a trailer off Craigslist, and I think the only two things I kick myself for are not keeping the dude's name/address, and not really being able to figure out the axle size with 100% certainty. I'm 90% certain its a 3500lb. So that's what I've gone with for brakes, and will either end up happy or with a broken axle...

All the same. It's been great so far, and this community has been an immense help already!
