Thar's gold in them thar tears!!! updated

It's hard to see and I'll get some better photos tomorrow when I have better sun on the tear, but this time around I dumped a load of gold pearlescense into the clear when I shot the roof and hatch...Pearl is always hard to photograph but just under the reflection of the trees you can see the gold cast to it...I wasn't having any luck getting it to show up and kept playing around with the clear....finally dumped it all in..and it way shows on the black hinge...I couldn't wait till morning to see how it looked outside, but this is the only photo I could get that showed it....Well see tomorrow... Doug

shot of the galley hatch, pearlescense requires light reflection so it's tough to photograph

I see gold but not the whole tear. I bet that is lovely when
the whole thing is in daylight. ;)

Jack...I are one!!!!! got a dredge I built...I'll get some better shots tomorrow...hopefully they will be better...I won't know if I got the pearl on even till I get it out in the sun...tough to judge in the shop with crappy lighting and no ventilation when spraying, my first time at doing this and on top of a scuff finish it only added to my problems....Doug
