Portable/Permanent Shower Help

I need some advice/help. My hunt club has everything but a shower.... weird i know. I need to install one in my camper this week. I have two 10 gallon fresh water tanks and a spot to put the shower. Just trying to decide if i need to go with a permanent shower or a portable one. I was looking for some ideas or suggestions from those of you who have done this or solved this problem. What all would I need or what would be the easiest thing to do? Thanks.

How big is your ct? What do you already have in it? Floor plan? What do you haul in it?

It is semi permanent, but is completely removable as the floor is not attached to the ct. It stays in place because of the drain pipe and close sides. Before I put this floor in I used a medium sized mixing tub from HD. You can see it here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=55219&start=195

For hot water I heat it on either my heater, if it is cold in the mornings, or my cook stove if I don't have my heater stove on. Then I mix it to 110 degrees in a sprayer with a short wand (1 to 3 inches).

Another option is a shower enclosure outside.

I suggest that you start with what is easiest and work up from there to what you are most comfortable with. Doing a temporary first allows you to see what size you want and how it will fit with what you already have in your ct.

I forgot to add that my shower curtain has elastic in the top hem, and it hangs from very small cup hooks set in the ceiling. That makes it easily movable to use and to store against the wall while it dries.

Your two quickest options are either buying an outside shower enclosure, or going with curtains from the ceiling into a tub. I did like the HD mortar mixing tub. It was roomy enough, but rectangular so that it stored to the side mostly out of the way.

If you buy your shower curtains you will need 2 or 3 to overlap and fully surround you. I'm not sure on the number or size of them. My curtain is made from some nylon that I already had.

I have a shower in my CT and will use the CT as a hunt camp next week. But I will be using the sprayer for water as is shown here. I just am not ready to manage the use and storage of regular shower water in my CT for this trip. I will use the shower stall however in a heated trailer. So no more shivers as in the past.

I took the remains of an ezup canopy, which luckily the legs were not affected, removed the broken cross braces and then reduced it in size to where it is 3'x3' square. I then cut a 12x12 tarp in half, making it 6x12. Attached snaps to the legs and the tarp, along with a few shower curtain holders. The shower system ties into my Triton 5L on-demand hot water heater. I put a foot switch (old car dimmer switch) to act as an on-off for the waterpump. Nice, warm shower, plenty of room and also acts as an outside toilet/dressing room. Plus it folds down to almost nothing.

Ok so I went to lowes and bought one of these utility tubs. It's almost 24x24 which is plenty of room. I'm going to build a box around it and it already has a drain so I'll drill a hole and run a short PVC pipe to the ground so that I can just let it drain to the ground. (I'll use biodegradable products) then I'll use your method for hanging the shower curtains. The curtains will just lay on the in side wall of the tub so it should work well. Still trying to figure out what to use for a shower head or a tankless water heater

I'm going to use a square PVC rig to hold the shower curtain. Will take 2 shower curtain. When the shower is not in use it will be a bench. I'm building a bench around it with a 5" thick foam topper (its what I have laying around). I'm using a Big Kahuna portable shower as my shower pump and water supply. The 8 gallon tank which is the middle one in the picture. They come is 4.5 gallon, 8 gallon and13 gallon. There also made in America and come with a lifetime warranty and they sell heater pads to heat the water. It's a sweet rig.

I use a pop up ground blind for hunting 4x4 with a piece of ply to stand on and bought a portable hot water on demand unit just pump water to it and instant hot water it runs off of propane tank

That is a sweet rig. Could you tell me your source? I can't seem to find the heater pad.

Ya it's called the Wolverine 500. It's sold on Amazon. I emailed the company and the owner said that is what they use and recommend. They have one in development for the big kahuna but they said it will be longer than expected before it is released
