I tell folks it's a comfy bed. They seem to understand, especially if they are tent campers.

I say it is a hard sided tent, with virtually everything you have in a lager trailer, that I can tow behind my daily driver.

I say it is the best camping decision we ever made. Comfortable, essentially no effect on mpg, goes almost anywhere, if I can turn my truck I can turn the camper with it (try that trick with a big RV). Can withstand hurricane force wind and rain and has almost all the comforts of home...and it didn't cost a fortune.

Laying in a teardrop gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Like sitting in a bay window on a sunny winters day. Unlike sitting in a bigger camper that gives me a cold lonely feeling.
Plus it is one of the lowest cost campers to own and use. Great for weekend trips. Also a good DUI preventer, Just bring your bed with you.

I like it when they see it and ask where do I sleep?
I show them inside, they say 'WOW"
Then I open the hatch!

If I am camping (only done it a couple of times) and people come look, they are blown away.

There are not many in my neck of the woods. I have not seen a TD in real life except my own!

Just explained it this weekend.........."It's a tent on wheels that you do not have to set up or break down, and is 1000 times more comfortable than sleeping on the hard... sometimes wet ground..... like a dog" :D
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

I usually describe my Little Guy 5-Wide as a queen-size bed on wheels with a kitchen in the back, but I keep a selection of photos on my I-Phone to show what I'm talking about
