British Teardrop builder

Just finished my Teardrop, I photographed every stage and in the end took over 1200 photos and made a book of my build.

Hi im in York, which is 200 miles north of London.

The box cushions are on both sides and it can seat 4, then its a matter of folding down the table and the cushions make up the 6 x 4 foot mattress. Sleeps !

The other side of the interior. All mod cons, TV, DVD, Radio, Heater and LED colour changing lighting ! (what more could a man want?)

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 was building the actual trailer base, Ive included 4 photos of the 110 photos i took of building the actual trailer base made from 50mm x 50mm box section steel, with full suspension units on 10" wheels.

Then fitted with a 8 x 4 foot plywood deck.

First i welded a simple rectangle out of the box section steel, with mitered corners :

Then added cross pieces of steel box section :

The wheels and suspension were fixed to the trailer main frame:
