Sorry I didn't get pictures of the canvasing process but I barely had enough hands between my son and I to get it done. In short, I didn't pre-shrink and only had issues on the inside corners of the door jambs. I just had to staple down the jamb corners while the paint was wet and it worked great. Other wise it worked perfectly. I used 7 oz canvas I got from Big Duck on sale for 2.99 a yard. It came on a roll with no wrinkles so no washing or ironing. I wrapped from the back door all the way around in one piece. I lapped that several inches up on the roof. Then I covered the roof allowing it to lap down over the wall about 1". The canvass pulled down very tight against the wood, showing every flaw I ignored while sanding, forming a nice tight good looking skin.
I am now dubbing it the "White Elephant" and it is in desperate need of graphics. I still have to build the doors, fenders and running boards. That should break up the monotony a bit, but I am open to simple graphic suggestions from anyone who has the artistic or creative gene that I seem to be missing.
