I am trying to get more participation from Idaho and Montana???
We want to join in "Gatherings" / "Campouts" what ever you want to call them? No matter how large or small?
Let's get you on our roster and start sharing information with the 130 members here in the PNW that are already receiving it????
I do wish there were more of us on the "Forum" but it may not be for everyone????

Cool Allen. About 18 more days and we will know the date.

Does any one have a set of radios we can use? When we are driving around would be nice to be in communication. And to help in fire suppression if needed. Grass fire, not small arms.

IRG Dates have been set May 25th (wed) to May 30 ( mon )

We can start the Expedition on May 19 through the 22. Give us 4 or so days out there and 3 nights camping. Get you back to a real road on Sunday May 22 then 2-3 days of travel, cleaning up and restocking to the IRG.

Everyone cool with that?

In order to get together as a group We probably should meet someplace on the 18th an hit the desert the next day. Once off the highways I do not see how any one can join us. Specially as I may have not idea where we will be as route, stops, camps are subject to change.

I suspect that will be too early for me. As much as I would like to join in the fun, it would have to be later in the year for me to combine the trip with Poet Creek.

I will follow along vicariously on this one, and hope that you have enough fun to consider doing another group expedition in the future sometime.

Burning Man doesn't count as a cozy little gathering among a few friends, in case that is the dusty place you were thinking.

Nope, different place. But would be cool to caravan to Burning Man. Or we could do the Element 11 BM regional in Utah. I have been to it the past four years and plan on it again this year. It is about the 2nd weekend of July if you are interested.

You do not need much, Mostly food and water. Not necessary to bring a lot of clothing. Unless you have a costume you wish to wear.

Would love to make it, but we won't this year. New job, and won't get any vacation time until the end of July, when I'll get a whole week,,,,
