Ventilation ?

Looking for input for fresh air ventilation when the windows and roof vent are closed. I know if the fan is on and the windows are closed it's like locking the doors. I was toying with the idea of a snorkel type tube out the bottom of the trailer with an insect screen and up through the cabinet under my sink. That cabinet houses all the plumbing and electric so a few more small air tubes wont be out of place. Then put some type of vent through the bulkhead to the sleeping compartment. Trying to keep it inconspicuous as possible.

My trailer has these vents mounted horizontally on the side wall down low towards the front. Mine open on the top or bottom - not sure why!

Have had no water leakage when driving or parked in rain.
They are pretty good. Just open to let air flow bottom to top with the top vent open.
Helps carry out condensation at night as the warm air rises.
Turn on the roof fan and it really moves air. I glued some mosquito net on the opening to keep out the bugs. The metal grate was not small enough to keep out the tiny bugs

I used 2" pvc pipe in front bulkhead with removable caps under trailer.The fan helps draw in fresh air.

use a Fantastic vent on top that is open almost all of the time - I use a Max-AirII cover on top of it which allows me to have it open even when it is raining or at this time of the year - storage when not being used. My doors windows are my side vents. I have found when moving down the road when traveling, it is best to keep the roof vent closed if it is raining outside - I have had side door leaks and it seems to be from vacuum on the seals.

plastic soffit vent mounted high on each side. Screen inside, and hole drilled to slope outward.
The do the job with no issues. They are high to let out heat, as cold will come in and flow down the wall.
I have no roof vent.

Where I live and camp it rains...a lot.
So I decided to not have a roof penetrating fan/vent and instead went with side mounted vents.
One on each side.

On the one mounted close to a 12V outlet I used a Dremel and modified a computer case fan to fit into the vent opening, so one side is powered for exhaust, one is static.
Crack the window in either door a bit and we get great air flow, plug the one side in and its even better. And no potential roof leaks for me!

What did you end up doing? I plan on building a teardrop and allowing others to use it. My concern is that they do NOT open anything. I do not want anyone ending up dead. I noticed most of the responses had to do with opening something or turning something on.
1-Did you build what you described? I am thinking of something very similar at the bottom and a mushroom vent on top.
2-If so, how does it work?
