Cold water showers opinions ? And how do you do it ?

I gotta be a billionaire to afford KOA, they cost more then motel 6 sometimes.

Truck stops are $10-12 between Cali & TX, it sorta pisses me off when I buy 150 gal of gas on my 5 day trip and they give me the finger on a free shower. But buy 50 gal at one time & get free shower - that's not right.

Lately my water was around 60 F and at that temp I just used a wet towel , rinsed out 5 times. Even at 60F I was scared to get under the shower I was still able to do my head under running water, but not my body.

So there does come a point where even I'm chicken

Now wait a minute, you'll drop thousands on those fancy smancy good batteries and other high tech goodies, but you won't spring 10 bucks for a nice hot refreshing shower every few days? (No, we're not going there and using the "L" word either!) I have a few KOA's that are only $5 too, but even the $10 places are still a bargain to me. I don't have to heat the water, haul it, plumb it, drain it, or clean it. But I still get all the benefits. Bargain. Warm sponge/towel baths in between. Or wet wipes. Or the solar shower option. Anything but a cold shower!

I'm still pondering whether to put in a shower pan, drain, and curtain in my trailer for some of the portable options I have, but any I use will still be hot!

Never do plan on taking a cold shower. At the minimum, it is wet ones or a pan of hot water on the stove and a sponge.
But then I should not have to worry as I do have a 6 gal hot water tank.

Uhh yea, no cold showers for me either. Having said that, my plan to "just have a hot shower" really snowballed on me.
Tanks, fresh and black, pump, combo shower/toilet, vents, traps, waste gates, fans, lights, wiring, power center, insulation, flooring, heat and A/C, microwave, refrig, TV, sat, etc. etc...
Sooo... the first shower will be about a GRAND $$$.., but the rest will be FREE !
So I got that goin' for me..

Nope, nada, no thanks! I've got a Coleman Hot Water On Demand and if that breaks, I'll boil water before I take a cold bath/shower. I love my hot water!

I for years threw on a back pack and hit the road in asia,ive been everywhere in southeast asia except burma and the Philippines.
My first trip i was 19 and went right through indonesia witch was pretty 3rd world and stayed in the cheapest places i could find.
I didnt have hot water in the whole 3 months.
Infact i didnt even have a shower....just a mandi bucket to tip over myself and that was a daily ritual of pure tourture.
Worst place was by the Lao Chinese boarder where it was minus 2C with no hot water.

Yea i had a ball,you couldnt get me out of the shower when i finaly got to singapore!
Unfortuonatly was back to cold showers through Malaysia though
