It took my wife and I about 6 months to complete ours. We were primarily Saturday workers. My current work shed is too small to work on the camper inside so we had to pull it out to work on it which made working on it after the normal work day hard. We didn't spend every Saturday on it either. We probably averaged two Saturday's a month. Average work day 6-7 hours.

We spent about 5 months, from building the trailer to taking it on the first trip. I'm retired and disabled so I put in maybe 20 hours per week, but I was working at about 25-40% capacity. Biggest time thing was resawing those 1,500 linear feet of cedar for the strips. The trailer was about 90% complete at the 5 month point. Now the weather is cool I've moved into the "more finished" stage, so I figure another month to get another 5% done. I'll never actually finish it, nor do I want to.

After work in summer gets me 4 hours a night, Saturday I can work sun to sun (no flood lights) and Monday is another sun to sun. I can only build tears outside.
