This is more of a look out
last year had a great time at the dam 2015. SO payed for 2016 on my way out. Now getting a e mail saying that I NEVER PAID.

The confirmation showing deposit and payment was received today.
Unless you paid cash? ........you should have proof of payment.

Being fairly familiar with Antlers, I am certain that they would never intentionally rip-off a customer. My guess is, like Vedette suggested, that you probably paid cash and didn't get a receipt. Then, the desk clerk either got side-tracked and forgot to enter the money; or, you got a dishonest person (it wouldn't be the owners) who pocketed the money. Another scenario is that the reservation was listed on the wrong day or month. That's why one should always get a receipt when they pay cash; and, in this instance, it should list the date and site# that is being reserved.

If you have a receipt, make a copy of it and send it to them and I am certain that they will honor it. Do you have a cancelled check or a bank statement that shows your payment? Confirmations are being e-mailed today. Watch and see if you get one. I know that they have your email address now; but, did you give it them when you paid your reservation fee?

i had to stand there for about 20 minuets as the girl was on the ph. After paying .I ask I may have someone else use the spot would they have to pay more. there reply .no you're good to go. OH WELL .Have clean out the car many times .from last may. I know that they where very busy . But to have my statements sent cost more than it worth. IF YOU DO ANY THING WITH THEM COPY AND MAKE SURE TO PUT PAPER WORK WHERE YOU CAN FIND IT.

At my bank, if you have online banking, you can bring up and print or copy a statement from last year and it costs nothing to do it that way.
Maybe you can check and see if you can do that.

What site# were you planning to reserve? Was it an electric/RV site?

In other words, someone screwed up. They didn't set out to rip you off, so you shouldn't be blasting off that they did.

Call them, speak to a human being, explain your side, hear their side. Work it out.

This is more of a look out. I know I should have not put the the paper work in the car we use to camp in . It's more of the bs be hind it. Now that we are working 16/6 days. just make sure you have paperwork safe . The sad part is I don't renumber what card it was on. Got my time to get off for the year . So will have to find a different place to go

Sorry, if you enjoyed the gathering enough to prepay, but aren't going because of such a small amount it, sounds like you are punishing yourself more than you are the RV park.

Well I found where they charged my card. But no word from antlers . I think they found someone to pay full price for longer stay.

I'm not paying in advance, since I'm not sure if I will be able to make it, and plan on paying when I get there. If they tell me to take a hike, I will be surprised. See you at the campground.

This park has been "RESERVED" for OUR teardrop gathering !!!!!!!!!!!! We had over 170 trailers in the place for the 20th anniversary in 2013 and still had space left over !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2014 and 2015 had probably half as many trailers, but still a lot with almost the back area near half empty. THERE IS ROOM !!!!! AND IF YOU PAID AND HAVE A RECEIPT, YOU WILL BE PROVIDED A CAMPING SLOT!!! AND IF YOU ARN'T AND SHOW ME YOUR RECEIPT - I'LL WILL PAY AT LEAST HALF THE BILL MYSELF !!! THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND I HAVE HAD -NO- PROBLEM WITH DEALING WITH THEM!! and this coming from someone almost 700 miles away from them. SHOW THE RECEIPT AND IT WILL BE HONORED and like I said, I will guarantee at least half the cost if they don't (being I'm not that rich) PS being it is still over 45 days prior to the event and you say you have the receipt, you can get a refund per their cancelation instructions Toll Free 1-800-238-3924 or 1-530-238-2553
