Pictures of different ways to trim and seal galley

I was hoping to get some ideas on finishing out the edge of the outside wall in the galley. My walls are 1 1/2. Most of what I see is trim for 3/4 walls. I would really like to see some detail pics of what other have done with the 1 1/2 walls.

check out teardrop garage I think episode 5 on you tube len talks about building the hatch in alittle that seems to be a good idea to me, there is picture of his work on here also

Thanks for the response. I watch that episode and he has a interesting way of water proofing. It is to late for me to thicken side that much. I kinda know how I want to do it l just thought somebody might be proud to show there's off. I think it would be helpful to have a thread on galley sealing, hurricane hinges, etc.

Here's how I finished my galley edge. First I installed the inner strip of edging. Trimmed the inner flange to allow me to format it to the contour. Then I installed the finished RV edging that matches the roof edges. They do overlap on top of the inner strip. These are the only pics I have at the moment.

I forgot to say, the galley seal I'm using is a D shaped bulb seal that is stuck down inside the channel of the roof edging.

It looks awesome. Thank you for the response. Where did you get the T bar? It would a great help to see the some pictures with it open.

No Tee, it's .050 flat attached with angle cleats. All glued up with the skin running right to the edge

The way you did your looks great. Is there a concern with the raw .050 edge?

It's thick enough to be strong. Has no flex. I put a strip down each side, plus across the bottom. It's been a figure it out as you go type of build. That's why it's taken 5 years to complete! I mostly work during the winter on this project.
