Five wheels is the way to go

Postby trikingtype » Sun Apr 05, 2015 6:11 am

Hi All,
My names Andy and i'm part way through a TD build in Leicestershire, England. I have a Triking 'Cyclecar' , its similar in design to the three wheel Morgan with two wheels at the front and a single driven wheel at the back. The TD will mimic the Triking in that it will have 18" wire spoked wheels.
I will post pictures of my progress.

Kind regards,

Andy

Hi Andy! I LOVE your ride! More photos! Will your TD be a star-gazing model, or will it have a roof!

Hi Bluebunny,
I hadn't thought of that, in theory it would help me keep to the 150kg weight limit imposed on an under 400kg 3 wheeler over here ;)
I plan to skin it in aluminium ( or aluminum as you guys pronounce it) with streamlined mudguards.

Regards Andy

Hi Andy, welcome :shake hands: from the other side of the world from a kiwi car nut. I absolutely love the car :applause: and can't wait to see what you are building. That weight limit is going to be a mission, so it will be interesting to see how you go about it. Good luck with the build and keep us posted.
We need to see lots of :pictures:
