New from Louisiana

Postby Pleiades » Sun Jan 31, 2016 7:26 pm

Hello everyone, Im 38 years old and never owned a camper, its about time. I don't want to spend the money for a new one, don't want an old one, need a light one. All the vehicles I have, the only one that is up to the task is the 05 Subaru Forester. 2600lbs of pulling power. So, I ordered a cargo craft 6x12 elite v. Few custom options. Will take delivery in about 4 weeks. Im a career plumber 20yrs, if anyone has any questions I may can contribute in that department, also not a bad mechanic. Just did a complete head gasket, clutch , timing belt job on my 01 Subaru Outback. Thank You all in advance for welcoming me to your community.
Better to bring it and not need it...that whole thing.

Hi Pleiades... nice meeting you and welcome to the forum... :shake hands:

I had to take a second look at your handle, my wife had an internet site for years, to show & sell her custom hand-painted tile murals, called Pleiades Studio after her seven daughters...
:D

Good luck with your trailer and ...
Happy Camping & Building,
John (JC)

Welcome Pleiades  Your in the right place for info we are never short of advice.
I myself am a retired "Plumb Dumber" spent 42 years in the trade, 22 laying pipe and pulling wrench's, and the last 20 as a mechanical contractor employing plumbers, pipefitters, weldor's,( not misspelled that's the person who performs welding) sheet metal and millwrights..........Enjoy! :D
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

Looking forward to watch your build come together. I have had many Subarus, although I don't own one right now.
