It's too hard to just pick one favorite tool. The table saw is the most used power tool. Other favorites are the Kreg pocket hole tool set, a biscuit joiner, a router and router bits, jig saw, an air compressor, pneumatic 23 gauge pin nailer, pneumatic stapler, orbital sander, lots of clamps, Titebond, epoxy, tape measure, drywall square, Ryobi battery powered drill, soldering gun, the 5' x 9' workbench on wheels I built, battery powered scale, a calculator, notebook computer, tnttt.com, Firefox, the Internet, cash, credit card, Amazon.com, Google images, Harbor Freight, my imagination.

Most used that I never used before would have to be the router. Cheapy little 1 3/4hp ryobi 1/4" collet that was like $54 at the time it was bought. That little beast built most of the camper, and its true what they say. Once you have one you will come up with things to do with it you never would have thought of before.

Tool that I appreciated heavily, cordless drill(s)

Tool that I borrowed and then went out a bought after the build was done? Mitre saw.
My build, 5x8 modified benroy "Smiles to go". Started April 2nd 2015, first trip August 2nd 2015.

Dewalt 611 router so far. seems like every major task I have to do or will do to build this teardrop will involve the router.

I agree! A close second - if you can call it a tool - was the 4-1/2' x 9' assembly table / work bench that I built prior to starting the teardrop.
