Well, I've been visiting this forum off and on for a year now, and I figure now that I've got the my chassis built and the floor installed I'd better introduce myself .

Two summers ago I started planning and building a 5'x10' teardrop. (Yes, the wife wanted a queen size mattress). Couldn't find a trailer chassis that size, so I ended up bolting one together from scratch. Finished the chassis last fall, and over the winter started acquiring lumber and plywood for the rest. I'm using the generic Benroy plans as the basic plan, with (of course) various modifications. The biggest one is the trailer is going to end up being 5ft tall...makes for an interesting profile .

Yeah, building is a long, slow process, but also very rewarding. At any rate, I look forward to becoming part of this community.

No! IRG is too close to Shasta for us to make two trips to Ca. in one month.
It is also in conflict with the Gorge Gathering which is closer for us.
