Previous post using strong tie brackets

Postby steve_29045 » Tue Feb 16, 2016 1:29 pm

Hello All...

I have used the search function here and as well google itself to try and find a previous post/build where a guy used a HF trailer and he used as I remember Simpson Strong Tie brackets to bolt to the trailer and then he built off of that.

Does anyone remember the post, or be able to help find it or recall who it was??

Many thanks

Take a look at this build, it's worth the look even if it isn't exactly what you are referring to. maybe not.

I bolted my 3/4" plywood floor on the trailer rails. I did this for two reasons. I wanted the height to be enough so my motorcycle would fit inside. I wanted the trailer to be as low as possible. I screwed and glued a 1x2 to the floor. I glued and screwed a 1x4 to the side of the 1x2a and the plywood. I then had a ledge to set the wall.
