I stayed three nights at the KOA in Moab, Utah last September during Labor Day weekend. Facility's were nice, restrooms clean, and never had to wait on one. The personnel there were very nice. I felt like my trailer was secure at the KOA during the days while I traveled around to the various attractions. I would do it again. Ronnie :)

I checking out campsites for the 2016 Fall Crawl, our daughter suggested the KOA where they live , as their town is one of our overnight stops.
Well, I checked it out on their web page, only to find their 2015 rate at $70.00/ night.
I think not!
What will it be this year??
Love Wal-Marts for late night arrival and early departure (when you just need a one night stop while travelling).......can't beat that price, "FREE"!

almost as high as Warrington, Ore. as I mentioned a few messages back, in 2014 it was just shy of $60 per nite - wonder what it is now? this is also what gets me about their catalog, NO stated price rates for nite stays, just the address of their park and phone ## if you want to call ahead. Some of the best $$$'s for sites today are maybe a bit primitive but very affordable and that's US Forest Service forest parks. They are still in the $10 to $15 range per nite.

In 2007 we passed on a KOA in Wendover NV. at $50.00 thinking they were Crazy!
But did stay at on in Montana in 2013 that we paid $52.00 for a spot that was in a field next to their real camping area.

...Absolutely. It would be nice to be able to see the price right up front. Instead, you have to pretend to book it online, before you see the price. :(

Still, as we've said before, KOAs have their place...especially for the weary traveler. :goodnight:

KOA's have a place in the mayonnaise history of American family camping. Hey, a family from the center of any populated city center needs a place to sleep relatively close to outside right? However I am designing a little clearance into my build just cause my idea of camping involves roads with few tracks and fish still curious for bacon wrapped hooks! And where I camp some of the forestry are related. If I give you $50.00 or better it better be a cabin and have a pot bellied stove.
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." I'm gonna do it in a teardrop.
