Installed wallpaper

Couldn't figure out what to do with the galley sides for a long time. I found a wallpaper that I liked and put it on. I liked it so much that I put some on the inside of the tear also. Not only does it brighten up the interior some, it also hides a bad spot on the door where I sanded through the veneer. What do you think?

Looks good.

I am not keen on look of an all wood interior. Wallaper is a good way to go.

I like it. It gives it a good homey feel. And you have got some great looking cabinet work there, too.

Thanks for the feedback guys! It's kind of funny how things work out. I posted about fixing the damaged veneer some time ago but didn't hear about wallpaper as a possible solution. It's a good thing that the Mrs. didn't suggest wallpaper because I would have dismissed the idea entirely.
But it really seems to work well for me and may be something that others should consider.

Probably will work good in your climate, but wall paper wouldn't last too long in a Tear Drop in Florida though, too humid. Heck we have trouble with wall paper inside the house, humidity levels rarely go below 85% even with the air conditioning. Oh, by the way... Looks Marvelous!

Thanks Steve & Ed, I do have some concerns about how well the wallpaper will hold up to moisture. I've noticed condensation on the inside of the windows after a night in the teardrop. The wallpaper is vinyl coated and even though it is pre-pasted, I used an adhesive made for pre-pasted paper so I'm hopeful that it holds up. If not, I will try again because the wallpaper adds so much "warmth" to this project. George.
