Phase 1 of galley..

Postby rainjer » Thu Jun 15, 2006 11:33 pm

I finished the lower cabinet today & the counter top.

As you can see, it is a tight, but everything fits.

You can see how much room I have for the cooler.

The drawers where a challenge.

I built some simple props also out of 4 coat hooks & some electrical conduit.

I still need to fill holes, sand & clear the cabinet. I is just set in place for now

I'm trying to finish the galley over the couple days. Then I can put all of my wood working tools away & push the trailer into the garage to finish painting it. I has rained almost evey day for the last week. I am also not happy with the blue color.

It was just set in in place without the hinge. I was seeing how the line on the back lined up with the side.

Since the dry season was extended this year the flats in the everglades have drained into the canals and it is also the middle of the spring mating rut for the gators as well as the ever present in the shadows, lurking menancily the dreaded CHUPACABRA. Don't believe what you heard about the gators------ it isn,t them at all------ you guessed it. The scourged of the campground and now south florida the rather amourous and sneaky CHUPACABRA males are in there spring mating rut also. A very dangerous sitution for the unweary camper and pedestrian alike it seems. I have my trusty bread bags at hand just in case of such an emergency
