Thanks sean.
Half the width is covered when its completed witch is a bit of a shame but they still should look pretty sharp.
Was a bit of a worry cutting them to lengh as they wernt that cheap and had to drive 4 hours to get them

Set up the brake cables today as i suspected id need to weld on some half chainlink guides for them to keep them as high and out of the way as possible.
Im looking at putting a winder for my spare up underneath so the brake cables will run down the drawbar 2 guides aside.
It isnt a big deal as its only realy lifting the cables not so much changing where they naturaly want to sit.

One more thing i did was add some 6mm shackles to the brake caliper conection points so iff need be i had an easy way to disconect the brakes

Ill have to get back to you with a brand brian but i got it on ebay and they make them in a heap of different lenghs from about 150mm all the way up to about half a meter.
They sell alot of automotive gear and it all seems to be well made.
Came with rubber gasket and mounting hardware ect to.
I think i paid about 36 sheckles for it

In between the rain im getting a bit done.
Brake cable guides welded on and cable finished off, fitted the gaurd again so i can take measurements to cut the other one down and weld the brackets on.
What do you think of the gaurd lenth?
The front could posibly be shorter...

Got the other gaurd mounted up today and made up and welded on the brackets then marked it for cut lenth.
I cleaned up the alko stabiliser brackets that i cut off my mistake....
Ive relocated them and im much happier with thier location, looks tidier and more practical.

Refitted the water tank to make sure the stabalisers clear it and the pipework witch it looks like it will with a close shave.
Realy wish i didnt have to strip it down and flip it as ive done it a few times but i think it will save me time and agro inc the end
