Not much progress to report. I've figured out how to stow the cutting board for travelling. I wanted a bigger counter space, so I found a plastic cutting board which covers the top of the stove when the top is folded down. It makes the entire counter a work space, but I don't want it flopping around while travelling or sliding & bouncing over bumps. I don't want to fasten the cutting board permanently to the stove.

After looking at things for a while, I realized that there was an ideal space next to the stove. The drawer guide sits on a 1/2" birch cleat, which fastens to the wall. The cutting board is 1/2" thick, hmmmm? After cutting down the cutting board to fit on top of the stove, it will slide into the space between the stove, below the counter top & next to the wall. I made a cleat to hold the back edge in place, once it's slid into the stowed position.

The front corner flops around if I'm moving & needs some sort of stop, so I used a piece of the off-cut board, a slice of diamond plate & a couple of screws to make a gravity "keeper." It holds the board in place while moving. It works!

A friend is working on curtains for us. Simple setup with two screw-eyes, a bungie cord & some dark green material which hangs over the top edges of the doors. Will post a few pictures once the curtains are made.
Other than that, not much going on. Winter break time for now & the job is draining me at work (very long week with too much drama), so I'm taking it easy for a while. Thanks for looking. tim
P.S. First batch of cookies is now complete & eaten, about a week ago, but figured it's best to document the progress....
