This was Colton's graduation from Junior High, 8th grade, today.

And he's been eating a lot of DO pizzas!!
He's gonna end up even taller by the time he finishes High School.

Hold the phone. Before I stopped growing (up, not out) I hit 6'5" and 5 inches came the years between 8th and 10th grade.

Here she is, with the second best elementary school teacher in the whole world...
Mrs. Joiner has been Bethany's teacher in the 1st, 5th and 6th grades.

Today's ceremony was very touching... I cried like a baby.
Besides making the honor role, she got a real big surprise...
It was announced that my little aspiring artist's work has been chosen to be in an Armed Forces callendar that is a tribute to Veterans!
Her artwork of an eagle was selected by the Navy.

Wow! What an honor! :applause: :applause: :applause:
Special Congratulations to Bethany.

Congratulations Dean....2 very outstanding kids... .and is it possible that you can bring up a copy of Bethanys work to the IRG? I'd like to see that one, and I know that Guy would too....It's neat when kids get a teacher that knows them through the years...seems like they just show more interest in their education...I had that with Mr. Rios...drafting, wood shop, power mechanics...and did go camping with him later in life...congrats Bethany!!! doug
