Go to pick my trailer up from the storage lot today, and this is what I see....

The lot has video, and think they know who hit it, I am just going to let the insurance company deal with them.

And now I am thinking I may need to "trade up" to a 7x16...

That is not a bad idea. I like my 6 x 14, but wish I had gone with a 7' wide unit.

I am really happy that I did!
Especially in such a short trailer as mine the ability to run the bed sideways opens a lot of options for sure.

That is exactly why I wish I had gone to 7'. Although, I am partial to the way MtDon had his built. I believe he took a 6 ft wide unit and stretched the trailer part partially over the wheel wells and got his wider width for a sideways queen mattress without increasing his tread width.

Mine is that way too.
They called it the Narrow Track Option and the fenders are really small but there are wheel wells inside the trailer.
It is no real problem though as this space will be covered in my build anyway.

It is as nice outside as inside with that option!

I highly recommend buying an air mattress to go with those cots. I use to sleep on them without one, it was ok but man, when I threw that mattress on it was so much more comfortable. Coleman makes one that fits width, but length leaves a little to be desired (I'm short so not a huge deal for me).

Standard issue military cots... I have spent many nights on them! That's why one of the totes has several air mattresses inside!

Just got back from my friends trailer lot, as soon as he sells my 6x14 he will be ordering a 7x16. Having them move the side door about 2 feet further back from the front, add 6 inches of height and add a 30x15 window. Other than that nothing special...
