I installed my 6000 but ac in my driver side V. Cut one of the beams and placed a/c in the middle of it, works great

I haven't around to installing my A/C yet. Life got crazy. I have built out the shower and toilet room, finished installing the fresh water tank, pump and plumbing, I have also installed the propane fuel lines and most of the electrical. The A/C is next up, then I will figure out how I am going to surface the walls and I will be pretty much done. I have decided to go with dual 6volt golf cart batteries for my DC system. I can get a good price on a pair at costco. I took some pictures as I went, I will post a bunch soon.

How did you mount your A/C? I am thinking about either getting a bracket welded up to span the two studs that are next to the one I have to cut, or else I will make something out of wood.

I've designed a way to mount mine inside the trailer and vent the hot air out a cargo door. The water will drain into a funnel then out the same door. So far it's all In sketch up. As soon as I can figure out how to take pics of my design I will post them.

I cut the one beam in the driver side v , cut the square out of the plywood, and metal exterior, put the ac in the hole win the little metal thing on bottom of ac Inbetween wood and metal then used 1x3 wood to frame the inside and out and added a metal L baracket outside. Caulked it all up and have used it with no problems.
