Thanks mate. Im annoyed by my saddle spacing on the drawbar though,im very anal about spacing even though i mostly do it by eye and get it within a few mm.
I added one larer on and it had to go where it had to go

Well on the job front news..... pending discussing pay rate and the finer details ive been offered a job
Her indoors is extremly happy at the prospect of her significant other having a regular wage,i cant say im to unexcited either.
Major change from what i have been doing the last 20 years or so infact it takes me back to when i left school plus using a few more of my more recently aquired skills/trade.
Basicly im going to be working for a family run buisness thats been restoring VWs and Porsche since the early 70s.
A bit different from carpentry and bathroom renovations but there is actualy quiet a bit of cabinetry involved in the camper conversions.
Well thats my news. Ill keep you posted

Well got a fair bit achieved yesterday and today along with making 4 pound or so of home made pate in 3 flavours and smoking a giant piece of chuck.
Ive finished all the draw frames witch are glued and screwed in place awaiting me working out exactly what im going to do for draws ect.
I had a plan but saw something different the oth r r day witch is making me redesign.

Dale, nice work as usual on the build. Shaping up & looking better all the time!

Do you wrap your roast in foil part way trough the cooking? I usually do a couple of hours to cook it & smoke for flavor, then wrap in foil for a few more to finish it off. Melts in your mouth this way. Didn't do this for a few years, but had problems with things drying out from time to time. This solved the dryness & never a problem with slow cooking this way. Ribs, roasts & chicken all turn out well this way for me.
