New (old) tow Vehicle

I'm still not sure I should use my new old Plymouth as a tow vehicle. It is a 6 volt car, so that's a strike against it.

Here is my current tow vehicle - a 1952 Plymouth Concord 2 door coupe.



And here is the new car - a 1949 Plymouth Deluxe 2 door coupe. Note that they are both shaped like my trailer.



Any thoughts? The '49 runs better than the '52.

Verrrrrrry nice. I would like to have a choice like yours.

I have not tried it but I am guessing that LED trailer lights might work just fine from a 6V tow venicle. Charging a 12V battery is going to be more complicated. But a little creative switching and 2 , 6V batteries may provide a solution.

Hi Mike,
Good to see you are still using the TD and now with 2 vintage Plymouths. I'm partial to that body style. Your only problem would be which one to drive. Both look good. As far as 6volt, Ken's '36 Chev and Steve's '28 are both 6volt systems and when I follow them I haven't seen any issues with the tail or brake lights. So depending on which one you drive, the tail/brake lamp would need to be changed to match the voltage of the car.



I wish I could have finished the Fall Crawl and made it to Idaho to visit with you last year. Someday maybe our paths will cross and we can meet up to do a some DO cooking.

I have always loved 49 Plymouths....so it gets my vote!
I have 49 Plymouth bumpers on my 49 Ford.
And Jack, maybe you two can hook up on this years Fall Crawl or on some portion of it????
