Thanksgiving at Mineral Wells 2016

Lets try this again. 2015 was a wash-out. I have great weather scheduled for 2016!
I am reserved Wed, Nov. 23 to Sun., Nov. 27 in the Live Oak Camping Area.

I was making my reservation this morning and I remembered we were talking last night about camping with the big rocks this year, is that still Live Oak or is it the Plateau area? Cindy Says Live Oak at the beginning of this thread and I wanted to be sure that was still the right place.

Thank ya sir! I'll be reserving right after dinner. I am doing thanksgiving with the family so we'll see if I can roll out right after that or if I need to wait to Friday but I'm there

I was camped at MW Live Oak loop last night, all the sites are awesome and showers are at the mid 20s and all the sites from 20-30 are within feet of the lake and a couple are right on the water like the site Cindy had at Tawakoni. Depending on the weather and temps being near the water could be nice if it's not too cold or something to avoid if it's cold and there's wind coming off the water.

No sir! haha It was just a one nighter for a date in town and that just seemed like a better alternative to driving all the way home that night. It was nice outside in the evening with the wind coming up off the lake.
