I know charcoal is better for grillin but for convenience we use a propane Coleman "fold n go".Usually cook chicken or burgers.

Charcoal is the only way for me. I carry it anyway for Dutch oven cooking, so it's always on board.

I have used propane and a coleman stove for a long time, but now I am using a homemade rocket stove. It uses far less wood and it heats up better and on top of that it allows me to use up some wood scraps from my workshop, or even small branches found where ever you camp out at.

We use a grill that plugs into a gas point in the side of Compass Rose. One of the problems I have is asthma so stay away from fires etc. Gas grill the same one we have and use at home year round.
