Manatee Springs Halloween Gathering
October 27th - 30th
BRING A PUMPKIN
A few of us are arriving on Wednesday. Nothing planned except setting up, decorating and relaxing.
Thursday - 27th - Cedar Key for dinner maybe and watch the sunset over the water. If anyone is interested or has other suggestions, please speak up. If anyone needs help setting up, backing up or whatever, please let me know. There will be lots of us to lend a hand.
Friday - 5:30 p.m - until
Meet n Greet - Hotdog night - Hula Hoop night and Name Tags/Greet Bags given out at
site 11 or 12 depending on site size. Will confirm later.
Please wear a Halloween t-shirt or Halloween pants or hat or all of the above, but save the costume for Saturday night.
Bring a chair and beverage of choice. Will grill hotdogs. Will need condiments, chips, dip, etc.
Saturday - If anyone wants to kayak, canoe or rent a pontoon as a group or go on a 1.5 hour ride with drinks and meal provided, speak up. The spring is 72 degrees and beautiful so bring your swimsuit. I've got a bowling set (large plastic size) if anyone wants a friendly competition at the Pavillion. :-)
Saturday - 5:00 p.m. Potluck dinner. Not sure of a menu yet but we can start planning now.
DRESS UP IN YOUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME and bring your bongos, congas, harmonicas, tambourine, bucket or whatever you want to beat on. Will have light up hula hoops and glow sticks. Bring GLOW STICKS! Walmart and Dollar Tree have lots.
We will have a Karaoke Machine so practice your best signing voices and get your dance shoes now. I promise you this will be fun!
After I get suggestions I'll make a formal agenda. Nothing is planned for Saturday morning except to visit.
We will not be trick or treating the campground this year like we normally do. We are just going to relax and "pass a good time". We will have a drum circle Saturday evening so bring your bongo drums, conga drums, harmonicas, tambourines, guitars or whatever you want. Heck, bring a bucket and use it to bang on. We are just going to have adult fun! (Well, we may act like kids but you know what I mean )
