Was able make some more good progress this weekend.

I went down to Lowe's to take a look around and found patio door locks that looked promising as prop rod locks. Came home to take a look at where I wanted the prop rods to fit into the foam. As it turned out the electrical boxes were in the perfect spot.

So rather than install another hard point I decided to dual use the boxes. I was just going to use a cover plate on the boxes so I decided to drill a hole in the corners of each cover.

Then it was time to add the patio door lock. I attached the lock to the box cover and drilled a hole in the proper position in the prop rod.

And now I can lock the prop rods in place.

I also got the curb side door faired out and covered.....

How do you plan to keep the wires in the box from being pinched by the end of the prop rod? Did you partition the box off?

Yes I do plan on separating the prop rod area from the electrical components. I will do that once I start to finalize the wiring.

Unconventional, but should be safe enough, I guess.

Since when is anything conventional in a foamie? I though it over before I decided to go with it. Plenty of room in there for the wiring. I will probably partition it with a piece of PVC pipe glued into place.

Now that the doors and hatch are fitted it was time to once again remove them and start the sizing coat. I got the sides coated. Next week will be the hatch and roof and then on to paint.....
