New Here. Wanted to say Hi!

Postby markyodo » Mon Jul 11, 2016 2:00 pm

I'm new here and wanted to say hi. The wife and I own and travel on a CanAm Spyder. Currently we tow a modified tag along trailer. Now we want to move up to a teardrop camper.
I found a manufacturer online of really, really light teardrops which led me to a youtube review which linked to several DIY youtube channels, which linked to an instructables DIY project, then a google search, and I finally ended up here.

I have been on the board now for 3 days reading about all these incredible builds and now believe I could DIY a camper that will work for what we need.
Thanks to all of you very smart people for sharing all you knowledge and past experience. I will be here for quite while while I research, prep and build my own teardrop.

welcome! looking forward to seeing your ideas and build as you get going.

This site is a wonderful resource. I am about halfway through my build and it is designed entirely by me using 100% the resources on this site. or linked off this site.

If you are going light weight, lots of planning is in your future. best of luck and happy building!

Welcome.

The more you stick around the better you will get to know the friends and characters here.

I think Slowcowboy must have had this on his mind when he posted: RIP Gage.
