B C Cozy Campers, Thoughts?

Postby Cathy P. » Sat Jul 23, 2016 9:16 am

I was poking around looking for more manufacturers on teardrops and tiny campers and came across this one, called BC Cozy Campers. Having always wanted to build the Glen-L Sequoia this one caught my eye. Doesn't have a kitchen, I'm tired of cooking anyway, and have camping gear from tent camping, that is not a priority. Not sure about the "build" quality, but it is just too cute! Thoughts?

I have been on hold making a decision as to what I want to purchase, so fill my time looking at youtube, dreaming!

The size would make for a hard tow at highway speeds for any thing smaller then a light truck and hard to see around with out extended mirrors. I have not been on a hide-a-bed sofa that is comfortable and the side benches are even worst. It is depended on being plugged in. Nothing works in boon-docking. The insulation is very minimal. But if you like to camp close to home with power or have a bigger TV it would be good.
Just my thoughts.

Thanks, I thought the width versus the length seemed a little unusual. Not a bad choice to replace a tent if you have tenting equipment though, like propane cooking appliances, Little Buddy heater, etc.

I saw one of these in person about a week ago. I see the appeal for a lot of people. I would check one out in person and see all you can about the craftsmanship. No manufacturer is going to make them quite to the quality that we're sure we can do ourselves. the price is nice, though.

All that said, we bought a smaller version, sort of a weekender style (different manufacturer but very similar). I still plan on finishing my teardrop (long story for another post). I will post a photo when i can track it down. By the way, our cabin is about 8'x6'x4'-6" with a toy hauler style back hatch.

Here's my only photo of the "store-bought" shell.

Thanks! Cute trailer. We don't see much of anything out here in central KS. Big 5th wheels are pretty much the standard.

I thought the fireplace as part of standard equipment was interesting. Not something I would care for. But overall and for the price if I was in the market would look at.
