New Tow Rig

My wife & I have purchased a Jeep Liberty with the factory tow package. I has a 7 way trailer wiring connector.

Here is my question:
To have the car charge the battery while driving, is all I need to do is change out my 4 way connector on the trailer & add a wire to run directly to the battery + on the trailer?

Note: The battery is grounded to the traiker frame.

....it depends on how the 7pin is wired but there should be a heavy gauge wire going to an AUX pin on the connector that could be used...would also highly recommend a dedicated ground wire and not to rely onna frame ground...oh so many problems arise from an improper ground..........
