I'm curious about the little white gas stove shown on the rocks with the gold tank; can you share the year and model?
Weather was fantastic and campsites lovely if you are self sufficient. Portable solar keeps my battery charged.
The stove is an Optimus 111-B which I bought new 42 yrs ago.
It is still by far my favourite stove for canoe tripping and has been used extensively for that over the years. I always take it along too for trailer camping, mainly for backup.
I sand blasted and repainted the case once, and also replaced the pot supports once in it's lifetime. Of course the leather pump washer needs to be replaced every 4 - 5 yrs because they wear out. Beauty of this stove is the pump is mostly for priming and I can also prime with an eye dropper full of gas in the pan at the base of the burner if need be. Some folks don't like this type of stove because of the noise they make, but I love that sound! And it makes me feel warmer on a chilly day as well as bringing back good memories!
Thanks for appreciating!
