Now in compliance. Was Neighbors across the street. There house went up for sale two weeks ago. On a lighter note.
Some progress. T-nuts, wing nuts, panels, curtain rod, took curtain to get altered yesterday. Is all coming together for better or for worse.
The last pic is dark but shows how I decided to shorten the wall. The Kiwi curtains look awesome and there is more room now to move about. I will post a pic when they are hung up.

 Oh yes. That's what they see for sure. Funny thing. As I was working on the C.T on a Saturday this guy comes up my drive way and informs me that the house across the street is for sale as off like two hours ago and wanted to know all about the neighbor hood as he very much wanted to buy that house. Said he had a Class A motor home he wanted to put on the side. Had no problem with what I was doing. He made an offer that Monday! HAAHAA! Thought I got a few dirty looks from them now that I think about it.
All good now!
Back in the drive way :D

Hey need some feed back on this.
I was going to mount this L-5 Tank less water heater outside some how but I saw a you tube video or two of some people who did place it inside but had a vent directly over head. These vents unlike my maxx- air vent had no motor or plastic fan blades though.
As of now I would only run it very briefly to wash hands and face in the sink. But I still may see a way to have a collapsible/temporary shower set up with the bed folded up. Maybe.

Questions.
Is this sensible?
How come I can run the stove but not the water heater in side when they use the same propane?

I have not even tried it yet so I don't know how much heat it puts out but if I could pull this off SAFTLEY I would like to do this.

Thanks.

I would like to mount it above the toilet a foot from the vent I guess. Maybe the side wall.

Mcdavie welcome back. Read you post about your trip. Cigars and whisky? Hard core. good info from you. Dirty laundry, storage issues has me thinking about a few things there. Thanks for all that.

then there I something like this but I would have to custom make it I guess.

The picture of the lady is to show how it is normally vented during use. I would have to fabricate what's in that commercial kit if I cant use the maxx air vent. Not sure about this but really want to try it maybe.

Oh man I better slow down. Read up on propane lines in the plumbing forum and realize why no one wants to answer a gas/propane question, I guess. Seems like the gas lines should be hard lines like copper if they run inside the trailer. That means the stove, little buddy heater and this tankless heater if it comes inside. I could leave the little buddy to run on that small bottle I guess. Not bring in the tankless heater and just hard plum the stove with copper. Anybody?

Of all the systems this one could be lethal and explosive so I will get this right or not do it at all.

Tommy B. Howdy;

There was this feller a while back, did a really nice job of his CT build.
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=60663
He starts tackling his propane on pg.5 but the whole build is worth lookin' over.

Got harassed for my CT in the driveway, back a year ago when we lived in a "nicer" neighborhood. We moved to another town and now my CT is parked on the dang LAWN!! Nobody says boo, because there are a few houses down the block that look like a dead man's yard sale year round. HOA's, busybodies and the like can eat a bag of rat livers.

Good work on the CT, I have an Eccotemp heater and it's awesome.

HI Tommy. That HW Heater really needs to be vented outside. . It will heat up the interior big time when used even if you are pulling out the exhaust.

Why not make a little enclosure for it out of aluminum and hang it low on the front center of your trailer? I have seen folks do it that way and it solves all the problems with the propane and the venting. I think that would be easiest and best in this case and it really would not detract from the exterior if you build a little enclosure that is just slighter lager that the unit.

Even easier, you could even make it such that you just hang it when you get to where you are going and make some quick disconnect for the water and propane. Many folks do it that way. Very painless. All you plumbing is up from in that area so just pop out under the floor with a quick disconnect hose for the water input, HW return and T off your propane tank.

Something to think about in any case. :)

+1 what Don said  . Those little water heaters put off a lot of heat. I've got all the plumbing lines etc in place to do exactly what Don suggested. I hacked a outside shower box for my water inlet & hot water return line. While I was doing my plumbing I installed a shutoff valve on my cold water line from the pump that will allow me to stop the water flow to the outside in case I don't have the water heater hooked up. I also installed a return line shutoff valve so that when I'm boon docking I can send that initial cold water slug back to the water tank instead of dumping it on the ground. I'll take a few pictures today and post them and show you what I did.

Hey Tommy
Here's a link to my build, viewtopic.php?f=42&t=65440&start=75. I posted a few pictures of how I intend to install my tank-less water heater. I hope it helps you.

Hey Tommy,
Listen Brother, I have that H20 heater in the bathroom, very small bathroom, like 32x 24. Just gave it a real world test at Sturgis, 9 days, maybe 10 or 11 hot showers and 10 cups of hot instant coffee. I have a little Heng's 1 speed fan/light combo in there and I can tell you, from experience, that there was ZERO PROBLEM venting the exhaust and heat. ZERO. In fact the gasses coming out are more like warm, NOT HOT. You have to run those in in short bursts anyway if you plan on taking more than one shower. So, you want to experiment with controls to find the correct temp setting BEFORE you jump in nekkid and scald your region, and the first 1-2 sec. will be cold, but then, its on Baby. Get your stuff all wet, 20-30 sec., turn off wand, soap up and scrub er' down as long as you need or want, whatever, then a good rinse 20-30 sec. and end it. That's probably 2-3 gals. or so. You don't have a lot of fresh capacity so you need to be efficient. JUST MAKE CERTAIN THE VENT LID IS OPEN AND FAN IS ON (exhaust or out) FIRST ! Also, mount that sucker close to the vent, but not too close. Mine is 5" lower than the plastic parts. If you are over 4'6" tall you probably don't want it aimed at your face, either.
Tommy, you know I love ya, and would never knowingly give you any bad advice, But you have to do what you feel is right for you and your family. You know where I stand now. Here's some pics.
