I bought a pair of stabilizers early in my build. Then I built the trailer chassis to match the ground clearance of the truck. Went to mount the stabilizers, and they wouldn't reach the ground. They're collecting dust in the garage. :fb

I haven't missed them even once.

Anyone in central Texas want a pair of the Atwood stabilizers for cheap?
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

After reading the replies, For those building and trying to save a buck or two. You could skip the stabilizing jacks. and most likely not have a problem as a lot of people that have them don't use them.

I am using these and like them. The flip up and down. Not meant to be used as a leveling jack. I uses slices of 2X4 to level.

I have them too. I do not like them. I use a hydraulic jack to level and then wood to shim. Too cumbersome for me. Wish I had scissor jacks. I have seen where a camper used a portable drill to quickly set them up. That I like even though they stick downwards quite a bit.
