Hey Tommy,
Let me know when ya'll are planning a trip to Delancey West. You never know, I might just have to load up the ATV and head down that way, it'll only be about a 6 hour drive. Ya'll done got me thinking/contemplating buying another 2 wheeler. I haven't thought about how much I miss trail riding on two wheels for a long time.

That would be awesome! We'll have to coordinate something.

hey collie PM me or Don or both with a contact e-mail address. OK?
Thursday through Sunday afternoon works good Get a prime spot before the crowd. Enjoy 48 hours of peace before the hoard. But its all fun. But I must warn you it can get REALLY crazy in surrounding camp sites. It will be hunting season and THAT crowd can get Loud way into the hours of the night. I now have 3/8 plywood walls and a stout aluminum door to block the noise so That along with a fan should do it. Just go inside if its too much.

Hell yeah you will like the trails with an ATV. Always see bears and deer out on the trail. Turkeys, you never know.

if you go to youtube there are a few videos of Delancey and some riding videos.

I hope to see you up there!

Anybody Else?

Collie as far as a dirt bike goes in Ocala. Many people hate it because of the sand and ATV ruts. It is what it is. Some really fun, some you just gut it through to the better stuff. I like it all!

youtube this, Ocala Lake Delancy 5 That's the riding!

That's it. There is another new one of delancey east that has three bears. Momma and two cubs.

This youtube video is very good at showing the narrowness of some of the trails. I like these the best but you got to watch out for on coming traffic!

Hey Hankeye, Thank you for the black tank tip Im ordering that rinse wand today. I will do just like you said. I do have that clear valtarra flush king and I will use it along with the wand. Glad I don't have to flush hot water down there! And no lollygagging at the dump site when there are people waiting. Got it!
Thanks Sir

So this Delancy Lake trip looks like it's really coming together. I'm not sure I can muscle that 800 lbs. of Harley around and keep up with y'all, so I guess I'll have to take the Indian Chief?.... I'll stop by and pick up ol' Hank on the way. This could get messy..er, I mean FUN!!!

Mcdave you would pack the house. People would come from out of state to see you! I would be totally  And there would be a lot of  and what ever else ones particular vice is. Remember what happens in Delancey stays in Delancey! :D Long as you can ride the next day!

Wished I lived in Colorado! ;) Just sayin

McDave, Howdy;

Careful what you be say'n. I still keep my motorcycle endorsement on my license
for them "just-in-case" moments. There have been a few, but I sold my last, a '77
FXE in '93. Only rode one of them big things with all the luggage hangin' off when
I was 'baby-sittin' one for a friend while he was deployed. Gave it regular exercise I did :D

That would truly be a dream come true to dirt bike and camp in Colorado with friends but I'm sure that will never come to pass. Just a 40 hour a week working stiff. 12 years till retirement. But never say never.

Hey Tommy,
Sounds like a plan. Rowdy, loud crowds huh? Shoot I'm use to that after some of the bike rallies I've been to. I checked out a few of them videos and it looks like fun. Do ya'll camp at Delancey West campground or do ya boondock? How tough do they enforce riding two-up on ATV's cuz I know the old lady is gonna want to ride with me and I haven't bought another 4wheeler yet. I'm planning on buying another one and giving mine to her.

I'll send you my email address in a PM.

Hey Martin.
I always see people double up like that. But as I recall there was a big seat made for it behind the driver. It looked safe. However if she was just sharing your seat behind you I don't know but I have actually done that myself as we only have one ATV Also. No park ranger bothered us about that. They may however stop you any where on the trail and ask to see your pass. Usually in camp or at a kiosk out on the trails. If your sharing the same seat like we do on rare occasion she comes along I will say its very uncomfortable quickly.

Must stay at either west or east delancey to camp. west is for atv/dirtbike access only. no water, electric or sewage. A few concrete out houses. So its boon docking in that respect. plenty of tents also.
Its not always crazy. Most people do respect the rules. quite time after 10-7am.

Are those handles at the front of the arm rests or where you put the straps to tie the passenger on before the ride of their lives

That sounds good Tommy. I'm not worried about the passes, I'll pay, but I know some areas are stricter than others about riding two-up then others. If all goes well I'll have another ATV in the near future but need a truck more than the ATV.

Let me know about the plans and I'll see if I can make it down.
