Opinions Pls @ Tongue Support, Question #4

Here is a picture of my trailer...

I am going to construct a foam/foam hybrid. Do I, or is it necessary to put in an "A Frame" support for the tongue. Let it be noted that the tongue is actually bolted in two places underneath. I should have included a picture of that. But think hotdog in bun in a square channel.

Even if it does not fail (in question) it will bounce and eventually fail. Our first one had a catastrophic failure, fortunately at low enough speed and with its second owner. Were it me I would add an A frame.
