Towing with the XUV 550

In 2011 we made a trip to Luxembourg with our tractors - just for fun and harvesting potatoes. At Josy Reiff I saw an John Deere AMT and when I was home again, I told my wife that I'll buy an AMT or a Gator - when I'm retired.
And two years ago she said: why will you wait, buy what you want and remember - the last shirt has no pockets (that's a german saying). And so I bought the XUV 550 Gator. This year we sold our old camper (100 Euro and bye bye) but we wanted an "other" camper again. Not to big, appropriate for the Gator - we like travelling slowly and enjoying the landscape.
And so I, or better we, found the right ttt for the GATOR.

Its interesting that you tow with that tractor... What type of roads is it allowed on in your country? What speed can you reach with it?

Hello, Pete and thank you for the welcome.

The max. speed of the Gator is 29 mph (normally here 25 mph) and so it's not allowed to drive on the Autobahn (like the american interstate) or on a Kraftfahrstraße (motorway (?), here the min. speed is 37 mph).

That's as I expected... here there are not many lower speed roads
from one township to the next. Glad it works for you there.
