Very nice. Are those Aluminum or the PVC (faux) type? I'd like to use that also on the floorline but it gets pricey quick.

They are aluminum. The price was not to bad, got them for $115. It is still a good amount of money though. But I really wanted diamond plate trim.

I googled diamond plate crown molding and found this site https://www.tread-ware.com/Catalog?cate ... wn_Molding I thought the prices were reasonable so I got them there. There might be other sites with cheaper prices.

Great solution with the cabinet doors. I think you will be happier without the center stile. Having one would make larger items difficult to place inside.

Yes I agree, having an open center makes it easier to put larger items in. I am contemplating installing a shelf in there also... Decisions decisions!

I am not putting shelfs in my cabinets, but rather I am buying some cheaper stackable bins with drawers from Walmart which can be bought in various sizes. I can then configure and reconfigure as needed or remove altogether if I have need to install a larger item. Just and idea.

I made more progress on the trim yesterday. I only have to figure out the two pieces for the vee, they have weird angles.









I am going take a break from the angle brain hurt today and start on my beds.

Better still, you'll need to do the angles and using the sine and cosine formulas find those.

You're a smart guy and I sure you already knew that but it might help someone else latter
on down the line.
If you're like me I just grab the nearest teenager or Millennial and have them do the math
on their "devise". I do know the 3', 4', 5' rule when squaring the corner of a building ...

Well I did not exactly take a break from the angles but I did figure them out. I first tried the above suggestions and I did get a correct angle then I started BS'ing with my neighbor and he said the orange box store had a cheap angle finder. Since I had to return some unused track anyway, I made a trip. Low and behold...



This little $5 tool made it so simple. I did have to use a little math... Anyway here is how it turned out.







I also made a little progress on my beds as well.
