Well it is getting real now. Tommy and I live 5 miles inland where the " M" I highlighted is. Work shut down, evacuating beach areas, and 24 hour warnings of imminent threat. I am worried about my CTC if we get the 135MPH winds predicted.. I am backing it against the house and I have got some 10" rebar I am going to make some 5' anchors with to cable it down. Also going to block the tires from rolling. I expect in the very least, I will have a dented up camper with debris blowing around. Very sad... a lot of work into that thing so far and no insurance. :cry: :cry:

Thankfully my house is insured... it may be my bigger problem...

Tommy... good luck man!

Ya'll stay safe down there. Our Gov in SC declared emergency and evacuation too bu they say it's turning east out to sea now. I think they don't know what it's going to do.

Hey Don,
I am so sorry you have to go through this. I'm not sure if you are able get this, and the last thing you need is my advice, but I just want to plant this seed. Maybe this is the time to utilize your trailer to max. Grab your photo albums, guns, jewellery, keepsakes, pets, and tools, throw them in the trailer and haul ass out of there. Just my thoughts...
I'm Praying for you, Good Luck.

All buttoned up. I have the trailer up against the house with wind mostly blocked on 3 sides. I have a shed anchor 5 ft in the ground and used the tow chains and bolted the front down. Hopefully it looks like this tomorrow at this time.

Made it through the night. Dodged a huge bullet. The storm intensity dropped some and stayed about 50 miles offshore. Some trees down and no power.. but my home and CTC are intact with no damage I can see. Prayers answered for sure. Thanks all.

flboy, Howdy;

Good news! That's 1 now to hear from Tommy. Then I still need to hear from my younger brother that
lives on Merritt Island.
