Self-leveling dicor on aluminum TD

Postby BeastModeAndy » Wed Oct 12, 2016 4:36 pm

Hey folks,
I'm ready to install my fan-tastic vent and have seen the use of self leveling dicor on all the instructional videos. I'm just a little concerned that as the white dicor self levels on the aluminum, it may dry looking like crap (chunky or blobby). Any insight on how the white dicor looks against the aluminum or tips to keep the look nice and clean?

I havnt seen the dicor in person but ive seen a similar product from sika and it smothes right out.
You could build a masking tape moat or something to stop it spreading excesivly i guess.
I havnt installed mine yet but ill consider making a moat
