clip wrote:I see, yours is more a curved finger joint I thought a true dovetail shape about 4 inches high 1 inch deep cut with a jig saw etc. where you had to lay both pieces flat glue up and press it down from the top like a puzzle piece would give glue surface and locking strength, but neither one solves the paint crack problem.
